Rotary Kew celebrating Australia Day with a difference
Rotary Kew members decided to do something quite different to celebrate Australia Day by making the day more meaningful. They provided lunch for not just one location, but four separate locations.Rotary Kew members brought cheer into the lives of the residents at Ivy Grange and Servants Housing in Kew and Hawthorn.
Teams of Rotarians attended four of the properties and served a magnificent Spit Roast Lunch to the residents. From the feedback received by the Rotarians at each location, the residents were very appreciative of this simple gesture.
Congratulations to all the volunteers from Rotary Kew who worked to make Australia Day something special for those less fortunate in our community. That is what Rotary is all about!
