Science Programs

The committee will promote the selection and/or sponsorship of students by Rotary Clubs for two programs:

 

Several programs of 3-4 days are offered for years 9 and 10 students to have a fun experience with science.

A program for students commencing Year 12 considering a science, engineering or technology-based career. Arrangements are progressing for residential sessions, one in Canberra and one in Brisbane, each run over 9 days in January, as well as state hubs. This program spans two Rotary years, which includes further short programs during year 12.  The cost of applying is $70, and the residential program is $3180, which does not include travel to the venue.  NYSF also advised that the applications for 2026 will close on 25 June.
