Rotary Radio Presenters

Ian Salek   RC Glenferrie

Ian joined the Rotary Club of Glenferrie in 2004. He undertook various positions on the Club Board then with Rotary District 9800 on Foundation, as an AG,  and over two years as International Service Chair. After being interviewed  on 94.1FM 3WBC by PDG Jenny Coburn  in the 2015-16 Rotary Year he was invited to become a Producer and Presenter on the Rotary and Community Services Radio Show. He has enjoyed it ever since, interviewing Rotarians (and non-Rotarians) about their wonderful community work locally and internationally. The aim of the Show is to get the message across that Rotary contributes to improving lives and is an organisation well worth joining.

 

Susie Cole RC Prahran

Susie Cole has been a Rotarian since 2014, is a Past President of Rotary Prahran, District 9800 Royce Abbey "Champion of Change" 2018, Victorian Premier's Volunteer Champion 2018 (Leadership) & Former District 9800 End Polio Now Ambassador. Susie brings a sense of fun into the studio and mixes a wide range of interviews with diverse Rotary news & music. She encourages all listeners to join the Rotary & Community Service Radio Show Discussion Group on facebook, so that they can comment, list their Club events  & have the presenter team promote them in 'Rotary News'.

 

 
 
 

Fiona Anderson

Fiona began operating the panel for the Rotary and Community Services Radio Show after attending District 9800 Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) as a participant and volunteer over several years, and has appeared  as a guest on the program on occasions.  With an interest in media and technical production, she holds a Certificate IV in Sound Production and uses this experience to operate the panel.   She has also operated audio for various projects including amateur theatre, and has volunteered at 3WBC 94.1FM in an administrative role.
