District Awards 2025
Introduction
Each year Rotary District 9800 takes the opportunity to recognise and thank members and clubs for their hard work and dedication to a wide variety of projects, both locally and internationally, that are changing lives for the better and to congratulate clubs on their commitment to serving others.
Purpose
The purpose of District Recognitions is to acknowledge and encourage high impact in a variety of key areas. They are designed to give clubs and their members pride in their achievements and to set the benchmark in what clubs can do to make a difference within our communities.
Categories of Awards
There are seven categories, which align with the Avenues of Service and reflect the District 9800 Strategic Goals and Objectives:
1. Club Service and Membership
2. Community Service
3. International Service
4. Vocational Service
5. Youth Service
6. Environmental Substainability
7. Public Image
- Please complete the District Recognition Awards 2025 Nomination Form.
- A project can only be nominated in one category (to avoid duplicate awards).
- Applications will be accepted for activities that were commenced and completed in the two years prior to 31 May 2025.
- Projects can only be submitted if they have not previously received a District Recognition.
Presentation Date
The awards will be presented at the District Changeover on Saturday 5 July 2025.
Deadline
Nominations need to be submitted by 11:59pm on Friday 30 May 2025.
- Certificates with the District Recognition logo will be presented.
- An electronic District 9800 Recognition logo will be made available to clubs to use on their club letterhead, emails, websites, brochures, and bulletins.
