On World Polo Day, October 24, there will be a live stream event from Pittsburgh, USA. Pittsburgh is the hometown of RI President Stephanie Urchick and the birthplace of the Salk vaccine.
The one-hour meeting will be shown live Down Under on Friday October 25th at:
- 5.00am AWST
- 7.30am ACST
- 8.00am AEST
- 10.00am NZST
The speakers will include:
- RI Pres. Stephanie Urchick
- Peter Salk, the son of Jonas Salk
- Mike McGovern, The Chair of Rotary’ International’s PolioPlus Committee
- Past RI Pres. John Germ, Chair of the Countdown to History Committee
