If you missed the Rotary SAFE Families MEGA-Meeting via Zoom on 7 March, you missed a great presentation from speakers highlighting the issue of family violence. Fortunately, the MEGA-Meeting was recorded and Rotary SAFE Families is happy to share the event via the YouTube link. The hour-long broadcast attracted more than 200 people from at least 48 countries, including Kosovo, Peru, Mongolia, Timor Leste, Tunisia, Mexico, Finland, India, USA and a number African nations.

Robert Fisher from Melbourne Rotary acted as a very able facilitator of the MEGA-Meeting. Speakers ranged from Dorothy Gilmour speaking as founder of Rotary SAFE Families, former RI Vice President Pat Merryweather-Arges telling her own very personal story, Moo Baulch OAM talking about her experiences addressing and preventing violence against women, and finally our own DG Michael Lapina supporting the program and encouraging other Rotarians around the world to do likewise.

As a result of this meeting, Dorothy now has 804 new Ambassadors which she will have to workshop with via webinars etc. As she has stated, "Full on!  But exciting."
