As soon as the Hobson Bay cluster members saw a table of soup kits waiting to be packed they jumped straight in - we didn’t have to ask! Before the meeting had officially started, 100 food packs were done waiting to be taken by the various clubs to local charities and food banks. It was so much fun to join members in a meaningful, hands-on and convenient project that everyone could get involved in.

It was an extra special night as the Rotary Club of Altona City inducted a new member Donna Griffiths.  Upon receiving her Rotary pin Donna said she felt like she’d just won a Logie - I love that!
I wish to commend Hobson's Bay in particular on how well they collaborate on key projects. Whether it's youth public speaking contests, teacher's awards or art shows (to name just a few), it is highly evident they are making a huge impact throughout their local communities through the power of the cluster! To see Rotarians catch-up with friends and make new ones on the night was equally terrific. A very fun and informative night!
Congrats to Rotary Clubs of Altona, Altona City, Point Gellibrand, Williamstown and Yarraville. Thanks to Presidents Craig Ryder, Charlie Hommelhoff, Geoffrey King, Daniel Keas and Jeb Annear for your leadership. Thanks also to AG John Wall for MC’ing and helping to co-ordinate the evening.
