This May, we’re hosting tens of thousands of Rotarians right here in Melbourne, offering us all a unique opportunity to experience the amazing energy and fellowship, global knowledge sharing and shared purpose of a Rotary International Convention. I attended my first international convention in 2016 in Seoul, and experiencing the purpose, scale and impact of our organisation changed the course of my community leadership journey. It is my hope that you are able to have your very own life-changing experience at this year’s International Convention here in Melbourne.
To help, District is sponsoring five Rotarians/Rotaractors from our District aged under 40 to attend, along with a little spending money and accommodation.
Sponsorship includes:
- Convention registration (Five days, Saturday 27 May - Wednesday 31 May 2023)
- $50 discretionary per diem ($250 total) for transport, meals or other convention events
- Melbourne metro accomodation hosted by a Rotarian, if required

Applicants will be advised of the outcome by email on Wednesday 29 March 2023.
If you have already registered for International Convention, you can still apply for this sponsorship. If you’re successful we’ll simply reimburse your registration fee.
