November has been a dynamic month for District 9800, with inspiring events and impactful initiatives continuing to shape our Rotary year. Each interaction and milestone has further highlighted the passion and dedication that defines our district. Here’s a look at some of the key activities and updates this month:
  1. Multi-District Impact Summit: I’m excited to announce that registration for our Multi-District Impact Summit is now live! This will be an incredible opportunity to connect, share ideas, and strengthen our community impact. Be sure to register and encourage fellow Rotarians to join us for this important event. https://www.rotaryimpactsummit.org/

  2. Rotary Walk With Us Campaign: A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the Rotary Walk With Us campaign! Your dedication has been outstanding, and special thanks go out to all who sponsored our walkers and teams. Together, we’re making strides toward a polio-free world, and your support is making a real difference.

  3. Zone Conference and Institute: This month, I had the privilege of joining our Governors Elect and Nominees at the recent Zone Conference and Institute, where we had the honor of meeting Rotary International President Elect Mario Cesar Martins de Camargo. President Elect Mario shared his objectives for the coming year, which inspired us all and underscored the importance of Rotary’s global mission.

  4. Foundation Month and the Paul Harris Breakfast: November is Foundation Month, and I was delighted to join Rotary Central Melbourne for their 32nd Annual Paul Harris Breakfast. This event brought together Rotarians across the district to support the Rotary Foundation, demonstrating our commitment to making a positive, lasting impact in communities worldwide.

  5. Youth Programs: Youth programs across District 9800 have been incredibly active this month, highlighting our commitment to nurturing the next generation of Rotary leaders. Programs such as RYPEN Camp, Youth Exchange blazer presentations, RYLA, and Interact are flourishing with enthusiastic participation. Our Interact clubs, in particular, have shown great leadership, further connecting youth with the values of service and community impact. These programs showcase the vibrancy of Rotary’s youth initiatives and continue to inspire us all.

  6. Club Visits and New Member Inductions: Club visits have continued throughout the month, and each club has shown remarkable energy, bringing in new members and enhancing the Rotary experience. I’ve been fortunate to witness many new member inductions and extend a sincere welcome to all who’ve joined us. Congratulations to the clubs for creating an irresistible experience that fosters a sense of belonging for all.

  7. Looking Ahead – RC Rochester’s 60th Anniversary: I’m looking forward to celebrating with RC Rochester for their 60th anniversary event on November 23. This milestone reflects years of dedication, service, and community impact, and I’m thrilled to be part of such a special occasion.

Thank you for another inspiring month, and as we continue through Foundation Month, let’s keep up the momentum, connect with each other, and make a lasting impact.
