In a heartwarming display of community support and the power of Rotary, the Rotary Club of Melton Valley has stepped up to enhance the educational experience of students at Toolern Vale Primary School.

Recognizing the school's challenges in providing a complete learning environment due to outdated technology, the club made a meaningful contribution that will directly benefit the students.

Past President Keith Stephens, leveraging his expertise in IT, was able to acquire 28 laptops, which the club decided to donate to the school. With an enrollment of just 161 students, Toolern Vale Primary had been struggling with obsolete PCs, limiting the students' ability to fully engage in digital learning. The new laptops will be specifically allocated to the Years 5 & 6 students, equipping them with the necessary tools to enhance their education and develop essential digital skills.

District Governor Michael had the privilege of attending the special presentation of the laptops to the school’s Principal and student leaders. The excitement and gratitude from both students and staff were palpable, reinforcing the impact this donation will have on their learning journey. As a token of their deep appreciation, the school presented the Rotary Club of Melton Valley with a Certificate of Appreciation, acknowledging the club’s commitment to supporting local education.

This initiative exemplifies the Magic of Rotary—turning challenges into opportunities and fostering a brighter future for young minds. Congratulations to the Rotary Club of Melton Valley and Past President Keith Stephens for making a tangible difference in the lives of these students.
