Dear Classmate District Governor Bronwyn ,
I am District Governor Pastor "Mar" Reyes Jr. from RI District 3780, Quezon City, Philippines.
I hope this email finds you in good health and your District in a good start in our year of service.
In line with RI Pres. Barry Rassin's call for us to do more this Rotary Year, and to make use of our District Designated Fund, I would like to offer your clubs to partner with some of our clubs to jointly undertake international service projects, or, we could do it via District to District International Service Project, through Global Grants Application.
Here are some proposed projects that we would like to partner with you as international partner: (please see the attachments for more details)
1. Cooking for Life -
Proposed by Rotary Club of Sto. Domingo, Club ID # 22006, Club President Jose Artemon Luna.
Rotary Causes: Supporting Education, Promoting Peace and Growing Local Economies.
This Project provides a holistic education to indigent young men and women to acquire culinary skills for employment as chefs or cooking staffs in local and international food industry.

The project calls for the renovation, purchase and installation of cooking equipment in an institution for abused women and girls called Marillac Hills, a government run institution badly in need of assistance from the private sector.
Abused women and girls are housed in the institution which provides education, and with the proposed project,  giving them the necessary cooking skills and providing  them dignity and confidence in preparation for their eventual release from the institution.
