What began as a heartfelt response to the Black Summer bushfires has grown into one of Port Phillip Rotary’s most joyful community events. Returning for its fifth year, the Melbourne Celtic Festival shows how live music, guided by Rotary values, can create real impact.
Founded by Rotarian and Irish musician Sue Foley, the festival blends Celtic culture with community benefit. Held on St Patrick’s Day, Tuesday 17 March 2026, at the Mission to Seafarers in Docklands, it features three indoor stages and a relaxed garden stage, showcasing local and international Irish, Scottish and Celtic artists.
Open to all, the festival raises funds for youth mental health, crisis support and community wellbeing, including Australian Rotary Health initiatives. With strong backing from Rotarians, volunteers and sponsors, and a focus on accessibility and inclusion, it’s a celebration where music drives connection, generosity and fun — plus great food, a lively bar and Guinness on tap.
Capacity is limited. For more information and booking details: www.melbournecelticfestival.com.au
