Now in its 57th year, it is Australia’s largest and best-known community Art Show and it’s back at Swinburne University after 2 years of lockdown.
 
The Camberwell Art Show is a competition and showcase of art organised by Rotary Camberwell featuring over 1,000 paintings by many of Australia’s top emerging and established artists.  Around $40,000 worth of prizes is up for grabs including $20,000 to the winning artist.

  • The Gala Opening on the 24th June is the premier event and the highlight of the Show, where you will be part of the offical opening ceremony, see the prize winning paintings revealed (including the $20,000 Best in Show winner), and have the first opportunity to purchase artwork prior to the public opening on Saturday. Delicious finger-food and beer/wine/soft drinks are included in the price of $65.00.
  • The Day Sessions run each day from 25 June to 3 July, 10am to 5pm (1pm on 3 July). Tickets are $10, with Concession Tickets (seniors, pensioners, Children 5-17) $5.
  • This year, we will also have the Show open for Weekday Evening Sessions from 27 June to 1 July, 6 to 9pm. Tickets are $15 (no Concessions) and include a glass of wine and cheese. Ideal for after-work-hours groups.
