The Year for the DG Rolls On!
We have now moved well into the second half of this Rotary year and life remains as busy as ever in the world of Rotary.
 
My time has been consumed over the past couple of months with the Regionalisation agenda and in preparation for our much anticipated District Conference that is now only days away.

Big Shoes to fill at Donations In Kind
As we say a big thank you and farewell to both Laurie Fisher and Bob Glindemann, we welcome George de Souza (Rotary Camberwell) and Colleen d'Offay (Rotary Brighton) as the new Secretary and Operations Manager at DIK filling some very big shoes.  There is a story and half to be told which will be a mjor feature in the April Networker. Living Longer & Self-empowerment with Myeloma
Well known sports commentator Sandy Roberts was recently diagnosed with Myeloma and is now an ambassador for Myeloma Australia. Sandy has made finding a cure for myeloma his Greatest Call and promoted two community events marking Myeloma month in March. The first was ‘My Greatest Walk’ on 3 March and the other ‘My Greatest Call Long Lunch’ on 6 March 2024. These successful events were aimed at increasing awareness and raise funds towards a cure for Myeloma.
