Thank you District 9800
Many people ask me “What was the highlight of your year”?
There have been many highlights and personal achievements but for both Maureen and I working with Rotarians and Rotary Clubs and witnessing the quality of projects and their impact on the community has been the most rewarding.
Here is a snapshot of our year.
Congratulations to the District 9800 Recognition Recipients 2022
Congratulations and thank you to all the clubs who presented applications for the District 9800 Recognitions 2022. It was certainly not an easy job deciding on the winners for each category.

District presents Paul Harris Fellow Recognitions
All Rotarians donate their time and talent to their Club and various projects.
Some Rotarians then take a step further and give service at a District level and some of these Rotarians were recognised at our District Changeover.
Royce Abbey Champions of Change
The Royce Abbey Champion of  Change was created back in 2016 in recognition of Rotarians who are creating change moments within their club.  It is the team of District Governors who decide on the recipients.
The recipients to date are:
Stella Avramopoulos, Susie Cole, Laurie Fisher, Sue Foley, Jenny Foster, Bob Glindemann, Barry Hickman, Kerry Kornhauser OAM, Des O'Shanassy, Janaki Ram, Alan Seale, Lili Teichman, Samantha Turner.
And the latest to join the list of recipients are Heather Watson (Rochester- pictured), Donna Martin (Bacchus Marsh) and Sandi Fulcher (Chadstone/East Malvern)
